The Opportunity

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving business performance? As a Financial Controller, you'll support the Finance Director and partner the General Managers & the commercials teams to provide financial support, analysis, and challenge; playing a key role in achieving business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and offer strategic insights & challenge to improve performance.

Provide actionable performance analysis and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Proactively offering solutions aligned with the strategic objectives.

Ensure effective cost control, supporting operational excellence to enhance efficiency.

Lead cash flow and working capital optimisation initiatives, including inventory reduction.

Responsible for general balance sheet management; Conducting regular reviews to highlight risks & opportunities, and ensuring compliance with internal and external accounting policies and regulations.

Oversee product margins (Price and Cost) to inform decision-making and contribute to commercial opportunities.

Potential to Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and continuous development.

Skills & Experience:

Qualified Accountant, experience managing both P&L and Balance Sheet is preferable.

Proficiency in ERP systems (E1/SAP), reporting systems (Insight, Business Objects, Qlikview), and Microsoft/Google products.

Proficient in building and managing Budgets & Forecasts in detail.

Proven experience in multi-function stakeholder engagement and building strong relationships

A commercial mindset with the ability to translate financial insights into actionable business plans.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to deal with large amounts of data.
